Poker88 review — is the traffic actually as soft as people say in 2026?

RiverRaisedRon · 7/16/2026, 1:29:36 AM
I've been grinding NL50 and NL100 on Poker88 for three months now after moving over from a bigger network. Short answer: yes, the games are softer than PokerStars at the same stakes, especially on weekend evenings between 8pm and 1am UK time. Rake structure is fair (5% capped) and the rakeback deal I got through a broker is 30% which is above average. Cashier is quick with e-wallets, slower with card. Client is a bit clunky compared to Stars but stable. Not a whale-hunter's paradise but if you're a solid TAG regular looking for a beatable pool, Poker88 is the best-kept secret I've found this year.

Confirmed on the softness. Moved from PokerStars NL100 and my winrate went from 2bb/100 to 6bb/100 without changing anything.

How's the rake at NL200 though? Anything above NL100 usually kills the softness edge.

@GTOGareth NL200 is thinner but still beatable, maybe half the fish density. NL500+ I wouldn't bother — the regs have caught on.

Any experience with their MTT schedule? Wondering if the £22 nightly is worth grinding.
